Windows to the soul, or so they say.
And I can't disagree, try as I may.
For when I look at those brown eyes of yours,
My pulse starts racing, my thoughts start to soar.
I know it's silly, just lovesick thinking.
Imagination finds pointless linking.
They're tools of the brain; that none can refute.
Only two biological attributes.
But then, when our gazes suddenly meet,
My heart can't help but skip a few beats.
It seems that I'm falling, I can't resist.
While everything else ceases to exist.
I mumble and blush, forget what to say.
My breath comes in spurts, then is taken away.
I hope it comes as no surprise,
You've captured me, with your wonderful eyes.
